Allison Darcy Mitteer is a writer and storyteller in love with creating distinct character voices, worldbuilding through found documents, experimenting with transmedia forms, and all things spooky, mythic, and meaningful. The winner of the 2020 North Carolina Prize for Fiction, Allison has roots in the literary world as a professional proofreader and writing coach. She began designing and writing short-term ARG roleplay events with The Blackheart Collective in 2021 and now aims to immerse herself in interactive fiction and games writing both personally and professionally.
