As a frontend software engineer skilled in JavaScript and TypeScript, I specialize in crafting user-friendly interfaces. I'm currently transitioning toward becoming a game programmer and technical artist, focusing on C++, Unreal Engine, Maya, and Substance Painter. My goal is to create immersive gameplay experiences by developing these new skills.

Inn for the Lost (2023)

  • C++ and Blueprint programming for the below (mainly Blueprints)
  • Heavily customized the “Visual Novel Framework” project in Unreal Engine 5.1
  • Implement system to toggle text-to-speech and save this setting on a per-user basis
  • Integrated the Google TextToSpeech plugin to convert all dialogues, UI elements like buttons, main menu, pause menu, control screen, and credits into text-to-speech audio (~920 audio files)
  • Meticulously navigated through each data table for all 18 scenes to place each character in specific coordinates on the screen, add in UI, and background art, along with the narrative, sound effects, and music created by the DOTs team
  • Built and packaged the project during various milestones to test out the game during these stages
